Universal Warrior: The Telling of the End -

This story is unlike other fantasy I have read in WFG. It is truly an action story where the characters happen to be angels, demons, and winged beasts.

The first chapter has one of the best fight scenes I have ever read. The main character, Michael, is forced to fight to defend his life and his mother’s. The description of knife-play is very vivid and rings true and real. ( I would not be surprised to find out that the author knew how to handle a blade pretty well himself.)

The story then carries you through chapters that include a deadly battle between demons and angels, introducing other main characters: Gabriel (Yes, the Archangel), Odin, Raphael, and Uriel; a great scene where Michael captures a prey only to be surprised himself; and a gathering of angels. In each case, the action is vividly rendered on the screen.

The author is facile with his protagonists individual qualities and he immediately sets up the friendly tension between the all powerful Yang and and the rest of the archangels.

The power that Lucifer has provided the fallen angels lies as an ominous undertone and hints at a greater battle in the future.

This novel is only five chapters deep so far, but if the writer continues to improve as he unfolds the story, this novel promises to be exceptional.

I highly recommend this, so why not jump aboard during its infancy and enjoy the revelation.
