Jack Burroughs used to be one of the most feared names in the business. As an assassin who specialized in killing superheroes, he made a name for himself as the guy to go to when you needed a cape taken out. Reading the first five chapters of this story was like slogging through mud up to my thighs. I’ve never taken so long to read what is rightly such a short amount of words but the tedium with which the story is told wore me down.

Corbin, the hero of this story, is a nurse. It’s not everyday that I run across a story in which a nurse is the protagonist – heroes are traditionally usually given more "prestigious" professions and are doctors, lawyers, and engineers.
