The Karen Chronicles have a lot of pros and cons to them, and it has left me with some mixed feelings as to whether I like or don’t like it. On the plus side we have one very well-developed character, the Italian guy, a main character which will probably be developed soon, and a fairly well developed side character. The plot has a lot of potential, and the writing itself is very clean. These are some pretty good pluses.

The downside is one singular flaw that permeates the whole blog. It’s very, very, very slow. This isn’t the fault of pacing necessarily, since if you list what happens in each chapter it ought to be pretty exciting. I think its because there is so much excessive writing piled up between what happens.

This blog would be A+ if the writer cut, say, 25 out of 100 words.
