That’s not a complaint. If anything it’s a compliment that the only thing I can find to complain of is that there wasn’t as much of the book as I might like.
The characters are quirky and interesting. I’m thinking specifically of Mary, her best friend, and her grandmother. The other characters are interesting enough to be in the story, in one case changing from relatively two-dimensional to [more . . .]
Apr 26, 2011: While the pace is slow and the excitement is limited to as much as the equivalent of a high-five on a happy day, this story is worth a look. Its a nice little trinket to take around for a busy day’s lunch break, when you just want to relax and rest your brain.
