Why does the Apocalypse fit so well in a blog?

Mar 17, 2011: The Apocalypse Blog does a great job. It’s got solid writing – conversational, as suits the character and the blog – but literary in scarce moments. The story is compelling because the disaster is a mystery and not really something that the character ought to know much about.
