Defection by Taulsn

We would appreciate it if time travel, interdimensional invaders, and all the fairies would kindly get stuffed

Alecia is smart, driven, and . . . bored. She is one of the best at what she does, and this is not a good thing given the sheer capacity for chaos she is capable of inciting. Jessica is a dangerous fighter, with a troubled past, voted most likely to shoot up the school.

Prysim is very likely the smartest super villain alive, certainly one of the most dangerous, and is stirring up trouble again. The fairies are trying to kill her, just for kicks, but it’s not like they need a motive.

War is brewing, and the heroes fear the world will be caught in the crossfire. Everyone has secrets, everyone is hoping to keep them, Jessica is entangled in the web of lies, and Alecia knows an unfortunate number of truths.

Note: Defection contains some graphic violence and harsh language.

Bored High School SuperGenius

By Billy Higgins Peery, author of A Bad Idea

Apr 4, 2015: The story is very compelling: a high school super-genius keeps her identity secret from her parents and friends, while attempting to stave off boredom. The characters are interesting, the dialogue pretty nice, and there’s a good degree of suspense and world building.

Originally, there were a number of grammatical errors, but I talked to the author about those and they’ve been fixed. There are still some minor clunky bits (capitalizing "She" for "she said" when it’s placed after the line of dialogue), [more . . .]

Alecia will steal your heart. Prysim will steal your wallet.

By AntonShine, author of Contrarion

Sep 16, 2016: This is my first review, so forgive me if it’s not very good. Or long.

How to sum up this story? Alecia, a young woman, is the smartest girl on the planet. What does such a bright girl to do keep herself busy? Why, run around as one of the world’s most dangerous supervillains! As Prysim, she’s on the whole world’s watchlist. Think Iron Man with more money, fewer scruples, and a pair of super-powered homosexual friends/lackeys/clients.
