Tale of the Dragon…

By J.A. Waters, author of From the Moon: Home

Mar 6, 2015: Dreigiau is a sprawling tale that currently has four books available on its official site. The tale starts with the introduction to a frozen northern land where two siblings, Zento and SaRa, face certain death as their family succumbs to a blizzard . . . and yet somehow they survive, somehow they find their way to a mystical cave that keeps them alive.

Flash forward an untold number of years and the first chapter introduces the reader to AsaHi. Through her thoughts it seems that Zento and SaRa had founded a new civilization with new beliefs and training. However, right from the start it appears that the powers from long before are no longer respected or thought real. However, AsaHi is shown that there is still something special about the cave and thus begins a new chapter in the powers of Dreigiau.

What follows is an interesting adventure with a well-developed cast in a grand world. There’s a lot to sink your teeth into, so it’s not a light read, but if you enjoy world-building and fantastical ideas this is worth your time.
