I Wish It Were Longer

Aug 23, 2008: It’s a short book.

That’s not a complaint. If anything it’s a compliment that the only thing I can find to complain of is that there wasn’t as much of the book as I might like.

The characters are quirky and interesting. I’m thinking specifically of Mary, her best friend, and her grandmother. The other characters are interesting enough to be in the story, in one case changing from relatively two-dimensional to [more . . .]
