The author does a good job of setting her world’s information up without a lot of exposition, and sinks the reader right into some interesting action at the beginning.

The setting she uses, wilderness outside of Rome that’s peppered with ruins, is interesting in and of itself, and then we get to [more . . .]

The Only City Left: a treat to read

Sep 9, 2012: The Only City Left is a story which will capture you from the beginning with survival action and drama in a rich described science-fiction/fantasy world which is like the title suggests one big layered city.
