DisAbled Oddities exists somewhere between a novel and a journal based on true experiences of illness. It revolves around a strong young female character who struggles with personal disabilty, thrust into a tale of urban fantasy in which unexpected effects of her illness arise as a key factor in resolving a philosophical shadow war between fae with repercussions for two worlds.
At its core, it is a story of the difficulties of being young and very sick, as well as the unique perspectives that come from disability. It is hoped that it will be recognizable to anyone who has struggled with charting a path based on their ideals in a harshly impractical and at times uncaring world. New chapters are posted here several times a week.
Note: DisAbled Oddities, a Novel is unfinished, and will likely remain so. It contains some graphic sexual content, graphic violence, and harsh language.
