Jan 31, 2018: I really enjoy the setting presented in this book. After having read the first three chapters, I have a real feel for a world full of chaos and potential, order and danger. Technology run amok.

The story follows the adventures of a young cyborg who uses his powerful on-body-computers and technical skill to outfit himself with robotic armor and artificial implants more useful for building and creating than fighting.

Not to say he’s defenseless.

The story rushes a little, leaving some of the descriptions abstract. That’s okay for readers like me who are heavily into science fiction and are able to supply some of the details from the tropes we’re used too. There is also a little info-dumping, but the author uses very simple, direct language, so it’s a breeze to get through.

I’m a fan of pen and paper RPGs and reading his work has my mind spinning for stats and rules to bring it to the table.

Worth a look
