BAUBLES AND BROOMSTICKS

What’s not to love?

When I began reading Baubles and Broomsticks, I wasn’t expecting it to be in movie script format, but I found the brief, to-the-pointness of it refreshing.  Morgan also provides a cast page, complete with real life people and that’s always fun.

Only one episode has been posted (not counting the seasonal special), but I am looking forward to reading more (and not just because anything remotely mutant-ish makes me happy).  The mutant concept is fresh and unique, complete with nosebleeds and other unpleasantness.

My one, small complaint would be that it was reminiscent of the Angel/Buffy ‘verse even before it was mentioned in the text.  But again, since only the first episode has been posted, it might be a little too early to be making such judgments.

All in all a good start, and I’ll be looking forward to read more.  Review subject to change, of course, as more is added to the story.
