I just finished reading the first chapter and I gotta say, I am hooked. The story is dark, gritty, and intense. The author made me feel Nikki’s fear and I kept expecting something delightfully nasty to happen to him. Great job! If the rest of the story is as good as the first chapter this will be the best online fiction I have read so far. Ok, granted I havn’t read that many yet, but that doesn’t take away fromt the fact that I can’t wait to get home and read a few more chapters.

I have finished this story and was confused by the ending. Max finds Reggie and then the story ends. There is no real resolution to the sub-plots and I am not sure why Max was looking for Reggie in the first place because afterward he just leaves. I felt dissapointed. There was some delicious dark beginnings that still left me hungry at the end.

Well I am happy to say I have been informed that the reason this story’s end was so confusing is because it isn’t the end. The author is planning on releasing the full book as an ebook soon. I for one will get it as soon as it becomes available.
