Apparently I’m coming to the game late.  The author has retired the story and completely removed it from the site save for the very first chapter (despite the title being ‘The End’).

I’m disappointed because it looks like such a good, interesting and unique start to a story.  A vampire cat from the cat’s perspective.  How cool!  The writing seems compelling enough and I’m digging the style and voice and it’s pretty much free of grammatical fallacies.  All pluses in my book.

But there’s nothing else.  The author noted at the top of the post that he was going to rewrite and start submitting the story again but didn’t give a date.  The last comment on the post was from the middle of November asking when the story was going to get reposted but received no response.

This story is receiving two and a half stars not because it isn’t a worthy read or lacking from a writerly stand point, but because I don’t have anything else to go on and a rating right smack in the middle seemed the fairest.  I hope he starts posting the story again soon so I can give a better review on it.  Not to mention I’m interested in reading more.
