Editor’s First Impression

Mar 24, 2015: Solid writing. Wasn’t planning to do anything more than click through to check the URL, and ended up reading eight chapters. Fun story.

Robert Aspirin Writes Urban Fantasy

By Alexander.Hollins, member

Mar 26, 2015: The opening of the story caught me with an interesting device, part of the story, and character of the main character, is revealed through dog walker forms, describing the walk of each dog. The story opens with a rapid round of fire from individual situations, and quickly descends into the strange. Demon Dogs! Masked Luchadores! Insane Cultists. And Chronic Canine Halitosis as a major plot point. I found myself sucked in and quickly reading through the first chapters available. Can’t wait for more.
