Must read for zombie lovers

Nov 19, 2016: This is a review swap.

This will be easiest review I’ve ever written.

This is a massive work, still updating twice a week.

Fairly straightforward zombie novel as of my read through of book one. So far the zombies come into two flavors, traditional shambling and rotten dead from under the grave and the much scarier fast zombies with a bloodlust.

The story is told through a series of vignettes, World War Z style, by a core cast of main characters. Each time the POV switches we get another chunk of the characters current situation and some background info on what led them up to their situation as well as some exposition about the setting itself.

I absolutely loathed one of the main POV characters from almost the first line of her section, which I think speaks highly of the writing for her section – that it was able to illicit such a strong dislike so quickly.

The editing and grammar are as solid as anything else I’ve reviewed.

All in all, this is excellent work. If, like me, you love zombies then you owe it to yourself to give this a chance because it’s as solid as anything I’ve bought off the kindle store.
