Everybody Loves Large Chests by Exterminatus

Large chests are said to encompass all manner of hopes and dreams. Men covet them. Women envy them. But one fact holds true – everyone wants to get their hands on some big ones.

The same holds true for one intrepid adventurer – a strapping young lad by the name of Himmel. Armed with his grandfather’s trusty longsword and the dream of being the strongest, he sets out on the journey of a lifetime! It is sure to be a long and dangerous road, fraught with danger! And it all starts with a simple test – reach Level 5 in the dungeon called the ‘newbie zone’ and earn the right to become a full-fledged adventurer!

However, such things get hopelessly derailed when his adolescent mind beholds an exposed chest for the first time. A fateful meeting that would inevitably lead his life in a direction he never even dreamed of!

Note: Everybody Loves Large Chests contains pervasive graphic violence; also, some graphic sexual content and harsh language.

Absurd in the Best Way

By caerulex, author of Apex Predator

Jun 26, 2017: This story is one of the most absurd I’ve ever read. The main character is a man-eating treasure-chest look-alike who, by the most freakish of lucky events, becomes a warlock.

I have no idea how the author, Exterminatus, was able to come up with this premise, but it’s absolutely brilliant. The story is enormously ironic and made me laugh constantly. If you’re tired of boring protagonists with human morals and goals, this story is perfect. The MC is violent, ravenous, heartless, [more . . .]

Very disturbing, but some excellent character development.

Jun 6, 2017: I usually open with a stylized interpretation of the story, but . . . I have to open with a warning.

This story contains graphic violence, sex, and violent sex. I despise the casual overuse to which the word Trigger is used these days, but . . . this story is very potentially triggering for victims of sexual and psychological abuse. It contains very definite scenes of rape, stockholm syndrome, ptsd, and violence triggered depression, as well as mind control used for evil. If you don’t want to read [more . . .]

This treasure chest is full of junk food for the mind.

By Patrick Rochefort, author of From Winter's Ashes

Nov 1, 2017: 3.5 stars.

It’s junk. It’s junk and glorious, unapologetic, ironic trash throughout. It’s got quite a few unnecessarily pornographic scenes that detract from the flow of the story. Every single character is portrayed in the most problematic ways, from attitudes to character growth(/degeneracy). Every flaw in it pointed out by other reviews and every trigger warning it has earned is true.

That being said . . .
