The Fayersae Histories is a series of episodes predating the Harmony of the Othar Saga, and while it has been written to stand on its own, it also augments the Saga by providing historical background. The Fayersae Histories begins by introducing the reader to Bran and Findian, the parents of Brancynn and Blonhaft. A young Avanian is also introduced, providing a link to the Saga. Other characters that are referenced historically in the Saga are brought to life, giving reader more than merely a name.
