FICTION MURDERED?

Even stories need saving sometimes

Fiction Murdered? is all about the age old art of storytelling, with a new twist—the story is about the stories.  It follows the perilous adventures of Nikki the Library Volunteer, and her gremlin sidekick Jubrin, who are on a mission to find out where all the stories went, and save them if they can.

It’s a fun, fast-paced story.  Since it was written for NaNoWriMo, the plot is pretty straight-forward and there isn’t much focus on "deeper" issues—but that’s not the story’s aim.  It’s aim is to celebrate a love of Story and express that in the form of a classic quest adventure.  It manages to do that without feeling hackneyed and "done."

Fiction Murdered? was the first web serial I ever read, and as such is somewhat the standard by which I measure them now.  Or, rather, my reaction to them.  Does the story suck me in and make me want to rush to the next installment?  Once caught up, do I want to check back for new updates?  Do I want to sneak to read the story while at work?!

(Yes.)
