Once Upon A Time kingdoms in trouble had to wait for a wandering hero to come along and save the day. But why wait? The Order of Champion now sanctions Guilds to answer the Call when a loved one is kidnapped, a beast attacks, or a curse is placed.

Birds of a feather…

Mar 5, 2015: Fairy-tales have long stood as simple parables with straightforward outcomes. Someone is the hero, someone is the villain, and a nice happy catch-phrase tells you what to think at the end. Those unyielding tales have been ground up in Flocked, ground up and twisted, blended, and mashed together. The result is a strange world where curses have drawn talented heroes to form the Guild of Feathers. Its members then rush headlong into strange dangers plucked straight from the world’s collective conscious.

Who needs Princes? Hire a professional. Cool idea, lacks execution.

Feb 2, 2015: Flocked is only one chapter in as of this review and I will most likely not be returning for awhile.

The story begins with an opening that harkens back to the structure and cadence of a classic fairy tale. The description of the king, his daughters, and their "curse" would not find themselves out out of place in the company of the likes of Rose Red, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, etc. (the original stories, not the Disney remakes).

Cursed for good
