Nov 27, 2013: Hidden begins as a pretty standard supernatural superhero story. Molly is a young woman with some impressive abilities to sense people’s emotions and manipulate their thoughts. I was immediately grabbed by the specific setting for the story—modern Detroit, a crumbling metropolis littered with abandoned houses, criminals, and (apparently) demons, vampires, werewolves and shapeshifters.

Then I was grabbed by Molly’s character. She’s strong but vulnerable. She doesn’t know much about who she is or where she gained her abilities. She’s passionately good, [more . . .]

Nov 21, 2013: "Hidden" is about Molly Brooks, a vigilante and telepath who strikes fear into the hearts of Detroit criminals. Known initially only as "the Angel," Molly makes a name for herself roughing up thugs and rescuing people the police can’t get to as quickly as they should.

Molly is set in her ways. At the beginning of "Hidden," she has a routine and systems for everything. And then one night, she’s followed by a demon in a pickup truck, and everything changes.

Jan 3, 2014: I cannot say enough good things about Hidden. I started reading it late in Season 1, and have been hooked ever since. If, like myself, you are a fan of supernatural stories, you will LOVE this series. It has gods, demons, and all types of fantastic, mythological creatures (the imps are the best!). The interaction between their world and the world of humans is wonderfully described, as are the creatures themselves.
