Loiterous by Tyhuko

Follow my hero’s story in the new, first of a kind Virtual Reality that came out – Loiterous. In this unique world it’s not player killers that you should fear . . . where artisan classes are actually viable, where killing a monster is actually a struggle not just a two clicks of the mouse or a few slashes of the sword. What else will this world change in the entire gaming community? What mysteries does this world hold? Who or what are the powers that scheme behind the scene? Find out yourself.

Note: Loiterous contains some graphic sexual content, graphic violence, and harsh language.

Editor’s First Impression

By Chris Poirier, editor

Jul 20, 2015: Edit: At chapter 23, the latent male chauvinism reveals itself for the outright misogyny I was hoping it wouldn’t become, with the major character apparently raping a minor character to punish her for opposing him, and the author chuckling about it in the comments. For me, it’s utterly killed the story. So I’m out.

Original comment: It’s not well-written and it’s about as Mary Sue as a story can get, but it’s surprisingly engaging, nonetheless. If you can get past the fan service and latent male chauvinism.
