whenever i attempt to give a review or my personal opinion on a piece of media, i am never quite sure where to begin. in the case of Mill Ave . . . do i speak of the intricate gothic, pagan, or bits of gore-like themes? do i tell you of the strange, yet vast array of characters? mayhaps i should talk of the brilliant writing and mastermind behind it all . . . but no, i will do none of those.
when i read a story, i look for those that i can easily lose myself in the words. i look for not just text on a page or a screen, but words that can paint a picture..words that can take me places i’ve never been to.. and words that leave me ever-curious for what may happen next. Mill Ave does all of those things. it is a wonderful series, and it is extremely addicting. if ye are curious what lurks inside of that novella, don’t be afraid to submerge yourself into it..and become part of a world that lies just beyond the norm.
