A collection of flash fiction that runs the gamut from surreal to absurd, to horrifying to hilarious. Stories weave in and out of each other and link at irrational moments.

The description of "Poor Benton’s Almanac" claims it’s a site for flash fiction, but what I got when I went there was a blog from an opinionated writer who apparently got published last spring, as best as I can tell.
I don’t see any fiction, I see pages of blog posts like any other blog. If it’s a "fictional" blog I can’t tell the difference between it and a real one, because he’s complaining about every day things like movies he didn’t like and concerts and random trivia.
That’s not fiction. That’s not a story. I don’t know if things have just changed drastically since this site was listed in 2009, or if there’s fiction somewhere in the site, but it’s not organized or helpful. There is a list of other works, but those are other works with different titles, and I’m not using this listing to review those, because this title does not apply to fiction.
