Paranormal Mystery

By Tahjir, member

Feb 12, 2009: Refuge of Delayed Souls is a story that defies genre. It’s part mystery, part ghost story, and part historical fiction. The story itself spans several lifetimes, and, amazingly, never feels made-up or fake.

Every facet of the story has been clearly well researched, from the language used to the legal terminology.

Each chapter is short and to the point, and jumps between each of the time lines, each one adding a bit more to the vast overall story. With each time line, comes a group of characters. Each fits their era perfectly, and are well rounded with unique voices and traits.

The website is well done, too. The art at the top, the color scheme, all of it adds to the feel of the story.
