Hey, it worked for LOST

Jan 5, 2015: Alright. I want to put the worst foot first, just to get it out of the way and focus this review on the inexplicably rich good points.

Seagrave’s Journey has a lot of typos. There are many typos and little variation between the voices of the characters. Seagrave himself is from New York, and there are slim to no references to his New York-ness that any other character doesn’t also show off. Seagrave’s Bizzare Adventure

Oct 19, 2014: Before we get in the meat of this review, it should be noted that the author of Seagrave’s Journey had things happen in their life that made updating problematic. At the time of this review, it seems that the author has begun writing again. So, there is some hope that it will have consistent updates. I am however perhaps being a bit optimistic. A minor gripe is that the site is a bit slow to load on my netbook, which bodes badly for phones and tablets.

a magical ride

Jan 19, 2015: Western world meets Eastern lore with Jiang Shi (zombie/vampire) and shape-shifters. The globe-spanning trip is a turbulent, occasionally psychedelic, ride dotted by beautiful pools of reflection.

During the initial chapters, the title character primarily reacts to the fantastical circumstances which is understandable even if it would be nice to see more decision making. In contrast Seagrave’s guide, Wu Ming, is proactive.
