Small Town Ravaging by SamNye

The small town of Minde goes from being a middle American, everyone-knows-everyone mountain town to a town torn apart by fear and suspicion when fifteen year old Benny Jorgens disappears, and then shows up a few days later, a completely ruined form of life. His mind has been ripped from his body and left imprisoned, helpless as his body is used to sow the seeds of destruction in the town he grew up in. In order to regain control of his body and stop the ravaging of his home, Benny must enter the subconscious world that lies below the surface of all humans, find the place where it all started, and bring an end to the reign of the madman who took away the boy’s body for use in achieving his own bloody goals.

Note: Small Town Ravaging contains some graphic violence and harsh language.

Battle between Worlds

By JMcAchren, member

At times, the travel between the many locations of "the Inner," is a little confusing. However, the action of the plot in these different locations keeps the reader grounded. The constant battle between good and evil is a common, [more . . .]

The "garden" is hidden on a hill the rest of the town considers haunted because of frequent sightings of a Man who never approaches or walks away, but simply appears.

But, while the chapter starts solidly showing details and actions, it soon loses cohesion. Events happen quickly and abruptly, without a lot [more . . .]
