Starwalker is the AI of a new ship, and the story starts with her waking up.  However, even before she’s done booting up, she’s already got a fully loaded snark program running. 

This is a light, fun scifi tale that I am breezing through.  The posts are short, although updated frequently, and the writing is very well done.  The story is carried by the mystery of the new ship (apparently even more a mystery to the AI than the crew!), the AI’s curiosity, and a light dose of witticisms and humor.  I’d almost call it fluffy, except for the mystery bit and how much I end up empathizing with the AI’s seemingly emotional reactions to her experiences.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, quick scifi read.
