I’m curious to know where this will lead.

I admit it, I’m hooked.

The beginning was not promising. The writing was a bit hackneyed and immature. But as the story developed and matured, so too did the writing. The pacing is quite good, and the lack of dialogue didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. In fact, the way the story is told contributes mightily to the overall sense of tension and anxiety.

I’m intrigued by the sidebar information, and hope that all of this information turns out to be useful and germane as the story unfolds.

I am cautiously optimistic about this piece. All told, it isn’t yet very long, and it’s possible that the story will fall apart or the author will abandon it. I hope that doesn’t happen. I look forward to more entries.
