A Very Promising Start

Alex L, the author, has just begun what he describes as his Saturday Serial. Part One is called Potato Juice and runs to just 545 words. At this rate, it will take at least two years to complete even a short novel, but if he continues to build on this highly promising start, it will be worth the wait.

I liked just about every espect of Potato Juice. There is strong characterization, vivid description, good use of dialogue, quirky humour and the hint of what may well turn out to be a compelling story.
