THE NOBLE PIRATES

Nothing is better than pirates…

This serial novel is going strong. The characters, the plot, and the author are great. I recommend this 100%. I am currently on Chapter twelve of part three. And the plot has finally thickened to a critical point. This is the time for others to join in and read.

Well, let me explain what it is that is so great about Noble Pirates.

The story follows Sabrina, an 30 something attorney as she is transported from the modern world, 2009, back to 1718 after a storm when she is in Haiti for a vacation with friends. Like any time traveling story, she has to make a lot of adjustments. And this modern woman is strong. She is a great character. As I would suspect any person of the 21st century would have a hard time adjusting to the past – think about it even in basic terms: she has to deal with people who don’t know personal hygiene. Its actually quite funny. I really love this character, because she has to take on so many roles including being a doctor and pretending to be a boy in order to survive her knew environment. If you enjoy a strong female lead you will love Sabrina and her encounters.

The main aspect of the story is that Sabrina is put into the world of 1718, during the Golden Age of pirates (hence the title). The fun part is that a lot of the stuff is true. If you like a little bit of REAL history mixed into a fiction story. Then read this. Historical facts are woven into this story, and nothing is taken for granted. Actually, the history of the pirates is what makes this story move forward, because when Sabrina got transported to 1718 she had with her a bag, and in that bag was a book about pirates. As the story progresses she meets many of the pirates from her book and knows their fate. So what happens when you know the fate of someone else? Well, if you like that person you may end up wanting to change it . . . you can probably predict where this is going. And its good . . . Start reading this now, specially if you like history and action.

Lastly the author: she is amazing. Posts are very frequent. Meaning a new chapter can be up the next day. And readers can help reduce the count down (which is posted on the website) by commenting on the chapters. If you are a reader, like me, who doesn’t always want to wait a week or two for the next chapter you can comment and a day goes away. I love it. It makes readers feel appreciated. Just as we appreciate the author. I really recommend this book- if not for everything else I mentioned, then just because you may be impatient and want a story faster.
