Editor’s First Impression

The short chapters are well-written and nicely laid out.  The feeling is almost like a western, with the bounty hunter lying in wait while he tries to determine if this is the "man" he’s looking for.  It’s a bit grim but very matter-of-fact as he describes his job.

The Return Man is an fantastic read. The premis is original and the plot engaging. Many of the works of web ficiton I have read so far are interesting story ideas but fall short in the quality of writing. They seem like they were either written by somone in highschool or for readers who are in highschool. The Return Man falls into the, "I would have expected to see this on the shelf in the Fantasy/SciFi section of Barns & Noble," catagory. If you love zombie stories you will love this one, and if you don’t try out anyway. The story was differant enough that it caught my attention and I don’t usually read zombie fiction. I am sure someone out there would find something negative to say about the writing, but I could not. It sucked me in from the very beginning and I look forward to finishing to find out what happens. Don’t take my word for it, check it out for youself.
