The Westwich Writers Club by Trevor Belshaw

Serial about the members of a writing club in England.

Stephen King is an aspiring novelist who joins his local writing club only to find it run by a bunch of pensioners who have no intention of bringing the club into the 21st century.  Follow Stephen as he attempts to bring much needed change to the club while the elderly members fight his every step.

Note: The Westwich Writers Club contains some harsh language.

The first chapter is well-written and introduces some of the "colourful", older characters of the Westwich Writers Club.  Stephen King is going to have a tough time breaking into this clique.  It reads more like a story than a blog but that may change in future chapters.

I don’t understand why this is called "blogfic" in its description tags, because blogfic is a fictional blog, where characters post about their lives.  This is a story, albeit a somewhat disorganized one, written in the third person.

So, what is there to this story beyond an inaccurate label?  Not much.  [more . . .]
