Note: War Brothers is unfinished, with no recent updates.  It contains some graphic sexual content, graphic violence, and harsh language.

Dec 14, 2009: I am enjoying this book so far. I am enjoying the writing, the plot, and the characters (mostly).

As far as I am in the story (chapter four) the chapters are moving me forward, and I am getting into the plot.

My one difficulty so far is the main character. His motivation so far seems a bit too simplistic. The plot is a standard one, ‘hey, let me tell you about this incredible thing you don’t know’ for the first bit, and the main character, without any real proof, just kind of ‘goes along’. I guess I am enough of a traditionalist to beleive that there should be some kind of opening tension . . . some ‘I don’t beleive this’ issue that needs to be overcome, and where we get to learn more about our main character.

But, with that caveat, I am enjoying the book. The synopsis lists some ‘graphics’, but I haven’t seen any so far. The navigation is a bit annoying, without a ‘next chapter’ link at the bottom of the page, at least that I have found.
