WINOC THE TRAVELER

Winoc the Traveler Review

By bombtasticnovels, member

Dec 9, 2017: This is a review of the first chapter of the newly listed "Winoc the Traveler." Keep in mind this is no way from a professional writer but what I read and saw as a reader (well and a beginning writer). To start it off, I enjoyed the brisk pace of the chapter as well as the descriptions of the scenery and the dialogue felt genuine and real. The backstory was worked in well with the story. Some other things though, "I’d cut him more than once. His lip. His eye." Like this quote, I felt some sentences could be different. While reading some sentences were sometimes an entire paragraph and some sentences felt like fragments like "His lip. His eye"." I felt this could be changed a little bit differently instead of two different sentences but this may as well be your style. Aswell as "The serving girl set another ale in front of me without asking. I’ve always liked that about her." I felt that second sentence could’ve been articulated with the first one a little better, Maybe "A quality that I’ve always liked about her" But these are just some nitpicks and I otherwise enjoyed the plot, the action scenes, the descriptions and the dialogue went well with the descriptions and the main characters thoughts and feelings. I encourage anyone looking for a good read to check it out!

WINOC THE TRAVELER

By Docmars, author of Tomorrow Girl in Bismarck

Dec 14, 2017: winoc is a man attempting to make his way in the barren, unfeeling world. Do you read fantasy books? It’s a tale of exciting adventure fantasy, it’s a tale of a self-made man and it’s a tale of people dealing with trauma and how to survive all the beautiful, thick, lovely fantasy coating.
