A GIRL CALLED SNORT

A Light Hearted Read

Editor: Sonja Nitschke

After reading all of the available chapters, I must say that I’ve liked what I’ve read.

It’s light hearted.  The writing style is engaging.  There are evil, creepy villains and curses.  In short, it has the trappings of a perfect fantasy story.

When I read the description of the novel, I was expecting a Penelope-ish type of story, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the story took a much darker turn.  I won’t spoil the plot, but I am looking forward to see how everything is resolved.

The relatively short chapters and engaging writing style make it the perfect read at the end of a long, hard day.  At fifteen short chapters, there isn’t a lot of story, but it’s fast moving and I don’t hesitate to click the "next" link.

P.S After writing this review, I explored the rest of the site and discovered the Snapshots page which is a collection of flash fiction.  Like the main story, I also found these an enjoyable read with little twists at the end.
