Editor’s First Impression

Jul 3, 2015: InnerWorld is an interesting coming-of-age story about a young man, Gavyn, who was involved in a wreck and is recovering from that in some ways, even a year later. Gradually, it begins to seem to him (and the reader) that perhaps what he’s experiencing doesn’t entirely seem to be in the realm of everyday or normal.

The author does a good job of showing us his world, and describing the frustrations and struggles of a young man going through his teenage [more . . .]

THE ZODIAC EXPERIMENT

only a couple of stars in this zodiac

Sep 29, 2014: The first update reads like the script to the opening of a tv show. And that’s not meant in a good way. We get an info dump from the main protagonist talking directly to us, explaining herself and her motivations. Massive info dump, very poor use of first person view, lots of run on and loose grammar, combine with numerous typos to make reading it a slog. EVERY tiny detail of action is outlined, like the author is trying to tie a movie script into dialogue, giving stage direction.
