The Keepers of Forever by James C. Dunavant

A blend of hard science fiction, classical space opera, and erotica.

A space opera set in the not-too-distant future.  Humans are planning on colonizing other planets but other races that have been hidden on Earth also have plans for the ships.

Note: The Keepers of Forever contains pervasive graphic sexual content and graphic violence; also, some harsh language.

The first chapter is well-written.  An ancient race of vampire-like creatures is very interested in the plans to send colony ships into space.
