When I first listened to the podcast version of Brave Men Run, I was amazed at how well Selznick deals with the genre. It was so addictive that I only took breaks for eating, sleeping and downloading new episodes on my slow internet connection. All in all, it took about a day to get through the entire podcast novel. I have listened to the book multiple times over the past few years since discovering it online.
And now, Matt is offering a serialized version of the newly published book for online reading.
You can expect a strong narrative by a not-so-flawed-as-to-annoying main character, Nate Chambers, the action is solid, the characters plausible, the story is paced well, allowing the reader to stick their head out for air occasionally, and the language is of high enough quality that it rivals a several major players in the literary industry. BMR is another example of the high quality literature on offer from Web Fiction Guide. This serial is a must read!
