Site where story is posted—Good but I think it is best if the first thing you come to is a brief description and the contents. These are presently in the right hand sidebar.

Writing. Needs some work. This sentence, for example, from the first chapter.

"He leaned overtop her, lying the stethoscope’s gauge lightly across her chest."

Subject. The theme is how one reckons with personal trauma. In this case a death leads to the crisis. The theme is most interesting.

Chapters. Individual chapters are divided into sections. These sections are quite short. It might make sense to combine completed sections as single chapters.

Navigation is OK. Could use a "next" and "contents" link with each chapter.

Overall: This is a first novel. The theme grabs. The writing and presentation need some work.
