Faolan runs our family with an iron fist. As a rule, he takes what he wants, and mows down anyone who gets in his way. Or sends Cormac to do it for him. But maybe that’s what it is to be First. Thing is, what he wants now is Keaira, whom I love. He’s says he needs her . . .
First and foremost: Darkside is fun. It’s a rollicking fantasy adventure that starts with a bang and doesn’t slow down. It has humor, likable characters, and an engaging first person narrator.

To keep the review short the book was a great read. Set in a urbran fantasy/modern supernatural enviornment it is a adventure story with a touch of wit and a dollop of humor added to it.
