I am a full-time writer these days. I don't make a living from it, or much of anything at all, as yet, but . . . I have a completed novel, co-written with Patricia McLean. We also have a website of experimental fiction called The Germaine Truth. My science fiction novel, Sweetland is with my editor in Seattle.
I like character-driven fiction that's well-written, and if I'm going to read it on the web, I also require it to look good, and flow in a way that doesn't leave me scratching my head in confusion. I am particularly fond of works which explore important ideas or otherwise have some depth. Mystery, science-fiction, fantasy, myth, magical realism, historical fiction, I like just about anything if it's well done.
