I am Canadian, living in Waterloo, Ontario, where I study economics at the University of Waterloo. I attempted to write fiction twice when I was very young, which I eventually gave up after progressing some way into the story. Last summer, I tried a third time, and it was successful; my first novel is just over 100,000 words long.
