Joined: Aug 3, 2008

In my adolescence I became intensely aware of the overarching drama that defined my life. At times it seemed I could control and direct this unraveling narrative; at other times, I felt trapped in its outcomes.

I examine scenes, portraits, glimpses, encounters, “spots of memory” (Wordsworth); and trace the channels of meaning between them. The overarching drama rises to the surface of these ficciones and patterns appear out of nowhere.

On three separate blogs, I invite you to follow these winding, narrative strands and share your thoughts in the comments. Right now I am working on the Spain story; after the Spain story I will return to Las Vegas.
