A very satisfying complete novel.  There are under a dozen chapters, but they are significant, so be forewarned.  I found they flew by and left me wanting more. 

I really enjoyed the premise of this story.  Although it has action, interesting sci fi features, and so on, it is an extremely relationship driven (without being romantic!), so keep that in mind if you were expecting fast paced sci fi.  If you like explorations of individuality, self, and free will in fiction form, you should read "Keeper."

I will soon be reading, and probably enjoying immensely, the rest of this author’s work!
