Editor’s First Impression

Jul 3, 2015: InnerWorld is an interesting coming-of-age story about a young man, Gavyn, who was involved in a wreck and is recovering from that in some ways, even a year later. Gradually, it begins to seem to him (and the reader) that perhaps what he’s experiencing doesn’t entirely seem to be in the realm of everyday or normal.

ABOVE GROUND

A detailed landscape, enthralling in scope

Feb 25, 2010: I’m not a huge fan of fantasy stories, and have a habit of shying away from vampire and werewolf tales, especially since there has been such a glut of these stories in commercial publishing lately. HOWEVER, Above Ground is no simple fantasy story, instead melding elements of science fiction and steampunk alchemy into a richly detailed landscape where the fish out of water has a human face.
